A long time favourite with both the lunch and late night crowd, the Peter Street Deli is gone and has been replaced by an Ali Baba's in what feels like the blink of an eye.
SK said: End of an era! I used to go there all the time when my office was on Peter.
She's not alone, while I've never been a fan the Peter Street Deli, we continually got recommendations for the Peter Street Deli as a good spot to get good food, cheap.
Another CheapEater commented that while it was a shame the Peter Street was gone (I'm not sure I agree), he was happy it wasn't replaced with yet another burrito joint (I do agree with that).
