685560 Craggy Range Gimblett Gravels Vineyard Merlot 2007 (New Zealand) $21.95
Fabulous aromas here - big on the oak but retaining the fresh fruit flavours of raspberry, strawberry and plum and a touch of chocolate and spice.
155408 Marchesi Di Barolo Barbaresco 2006 DOCG (Piedmont, IT) $24.95
This is not the best Barbaresco you will ever have – BUT – it is the best when they are usually at least double the price. This is decent, rather elegant and complex in fact.
