Food Trucks Eats!

In a bold move that is intended to remind Torontonians, and City Hall, that the world of good food need not be restricted to fine linens and riedel glassware, Suresh Dosh of Spotlight Toronto is elevating street food and food truck culture in our city for one short afternoon with Food Truck Eats!  (The first of three Ontario Food Trucks events!)

Suresh has invited food trucks from all over southern Ontario to join in the fun at the Distillery District on Saturday July 2nd from 11am-3pm.  He’s also invited chefs from across the city to setup beside them and serve up their versions of street food.  A gentle reminder of all that is yummy in this world, for under $5 per. 

On the Facebook page there are teasers of what we’ll be able to sample:

• 5-spice pork belly steamed buns, Panamanian Tamales, wasabi lobster sliders,Chickpea Dhokla, much more..
• Simple Fish and Chips is serving Lobster Sliders with mini brioche, wasabi mayo and cold lobster salad! We are also serving up some Cajun Catfish Tacos!! Cant wait until Saturday! Sea you there!
